Z-Man Fishing Products, founded by Jerry Zucker, started in the 1980s producing silicone skirting material for lure manufacturers. In 2006 they introduced their Elaztech soft plastic, an extremely durable and non-toxic plastic compound. In 2006 they acquired the trademarks and patents for the original ChatterBait bladed jig from Ron Davis. Today they continue to be a staple for anglers around the globe.
